Good Morning!!
I received this from a friend and thought it would be fun to share for today’s positive thought!
Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah’s Ark!
10. Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
9. When you’re stressed, float a while.
8. Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
7. For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.
6. Build your future on high ground.
5. Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
4. Stay fit. When you’re 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
3. Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark.
2. Remember that we’re all in the same boat.
1. Don’t miss the boat.
We talked this morning with Dr. Greg Smalley from The Center for Relationship Enrichment about the Winter Blues. There can be a delayed reaction to the holidays – both positive and negative. Did you overspend? Did you have a great time with your family and friends and now just miss them? Did you consume lots of sugar? Whatever it may be, there are things you can do to lessen the winter blues. Self-awareness – know your “triggers” and prepare for them. Exercise! Call a friend and meet for coffee. Do something for someone else. Isn’t it amazing how much we receive when we give? Have a great day!!!
